Buck Mayers
Voted as a TOP 40 Instructor in the SW Region by GOLF Magazine for six years in a row, Buck Mayers is a 20-year veteran in golf instruction and has proven to have an insatiable drive for better education and learning about golf. Mayers has learned from some of the best instructors in the game including Harvey Penick, Sam Snead, Peter Kostis, Rick Smith and David Leadbetter. His knowledge and experience has been shared as a contributing writer to several golf magazines and as a guest of statewide radio and TV shows.
In the creation of the Escondido Performance Center, Mayers partnered with Dr. Troy Van Biezen to develop one of the most comprehensive golf game improvement programs at any private club in the country. Today, Mayers leads the Performance Center to provide Members with thorough golf instruction as well as evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries or physical limitations that create poor movement patterns in the body, which ultimately compromise the golf swing and overall performance.
