At 21 miles in length, Lake LBJ is one of the largest of the Highlands Lakes chain which stretch all the way to Austin. With a constant water level year round, it is an ideal lake for all water-born fun including swimming, wakeboarding, jet skiing, paddle boarding, and fishing.
Escondido’s Lake Club owns a stable of watercraft for member use. These include:
- Super Air Nautique 230 ski boat
- South Bay Pontoon boat
- Two Kawasaki Ultra LX personal watercraft
- Wakeboards, skis and towables
The Club also offers:
- Private marina
- Resort-style swimming pool with private cabanas
- Kids Club
- Casual dining
- Concierge Services where staff can stock boats for excursions or to even captain the boat
- Staff instruction on watercraft operation
Many of Escondido’s member parties are located at the Lake Club. It’s a wonderful opportunity to get to know your community and provides a wonderful catalyst to help families enjoy new experiences they will cherish for generations.
